I have been doing photography for over a year and I have been so grateful to work with so many different clients.
I love working with clients before, during and after their booking to make sure that we understand each others perspective and needs for the photoshoot. I think the involvement of clients during the planning stage is so important to make sure I include their individual personalities so that the pictures feel more like themselves.
I have found taking portraits many people have been so surprised of the after photos as they are typically quite nervous but to hear how much they like their results cements why I do this work.
My approach
I love to pre plan. I fully understand many people are camera shy and can be quite nerve racking when you have a photoshoot planned. However, I love pinterest and creating inspiration boards and sharing the link with my client to allow them to add and delete what they like and gives me time to look and plan for how to try and achieve their goals. This approach has helped a lot of my clients even in the middle of the session when they are unsure of what to do it gives them something to work from to gain inspiration without feeling overwhelmed
